Embody your free-spirited nature with these daring Draped Chain Glazed Half Moon Earrings! Artfully crafted from fine porcelain with a modern yet nature-inspired design and meticulous detail. These earrings will help you show off your bold personality and have people asking "where did you get those?!" (Fashionista alert!) These are perfect for adding elegance and glamour to any outfit.
Made of glazed porcelain with titanium hooks and 925 Sterling chain and findings. Approximately 2 1/8" total length from top of hook.
The porcelain pieces are formed by hand before being fired in a kiln for the first time to the "bisque" stage. As bisque, the clay is still fragile, but is now a bit more durable and won't dissolve if I get it wet. I sand away any initial rough spots, and then apply glazes influenced by color palettes in Nature before firing them to around 2200*F. The kiln can take a couple of days to go from room temperature to 2200*F and back to room temperature. Then I give them a final sanding and polishing and they are ready for me to add the metal components, package them up, and send them out into the world. It's a lengthy process, full of love, and closely supurrvised by Sage Catling, my Studio Supurrvisor Extraordinaire!

For Pre-Order pieces, please allow 4-6 weeks for fulfillment. This allows us time to get everything created, send it the necessary multiple times through the kiln, combine pieces with needed components, and package them up to ship to you.
We ship USPS Priority, which is an average 2-4 business days transit time. This is in addition to fulfillment timeframes.

Care Instructions
Gentle, loving care will help ensure your pieces help you beautify the world for a long time to come. To clean, simply wipe gently with a soft cloth. Do not use a sonic jewelry cleaner. A precious metals polishing cloth can be used to brighten sterling or gold-filled elements such as chains and ear wires, but is not recommended for lustred surfaces.
Please gently place pieces in a safe place to store them when not wearing. To prolong the integrity of your pieces, it is not recommended to expose the jewelry to cosmetics/body products or water, or to wear while sleeping.
